An air knife is an engineered plenum designed to create an uninterrupted stream of high velocity air to remove water, liquids, or bulk solids from cans, bottles, and manufactured parts. Our air knives are designed for use with low pressure blowers in order to increase overall efficiency and reduce power consumption in comparison to compressed air powered air knives or other drying methods. Air knives are available in aluminum or 316ss construction with 2", 3", or 4" inlet sizes. Standard lengths are available with adjustable width air slots from 2" to 144" long. Custom lengths and inlet positions are available. Please note that air knives must be properly sized for both the application and the blower being used in order to be effective.
